What is a Drop?

A Drop is a small, timed release of curated mystery picks from Swedish Candy Culture — sometimes baskets, sometimes single items or seasonal editions. Each Drop opens at a scheduled time, is limited in number, and typically sells out quickly.

How many picks are available?

Every Drop is limited. The exact number varies by Drop and is shown on the Drop page once reservations open. When they're gone, they're gone.

Are all picks in a Drop identical?

No. Picks within a Drop are individually curated. Names, contents, and pricing can vary — choose the one that catches your eye.

When are the contents revealed?

Contents stay masked until the Drop's reveal time. At reveal, the names, descriptions, and product lists become visible and reservations open at the same time.

Can I buy more than one?

There is a per-customer limit on each Drop to keep things fair. If you try to reserve a second pick from the same Drop you'll see a message.

How long is my pick held?

When you reserve, we hold your pick for a short window (a few minutes) so you can complete checkout. The exact countdown is shown on screen.

Does opening Shopify checkout guarantee it?

Accepted Answer

No. Your pick is held for you during the reservation window, but the sale is only final once Shopify confirms your payment. If the timer runs out before payment completes, the hold is released.

When is it officially mine?

Once Shopify confirms payment we mark it as paid and email you a confirmation. That confirmation is your receipt.

What happens if my reservation expires?

It is released back to the Drop. If someone else grabs it before you finish paying, we'll refund any successful payment that no longer has inventory behind it.

What if someone gets it first?

Picks are first-come, first-served. If the one you wanted is taken, other picks in the same Drop may still be available.

What payment methods are accepted?

Checkout runs through Shopify, so you can pay with any method your Shopify checkout accepts (card, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and similar, depending on your device).

Where do I pick up?

Local pickup is in the Fort Worth, Texas area. The exact address and window are sent to you after payment is confirmed.

Yes — reply to your confirmation email and let us know who's picking up on your behalf so we can hand it off smoothly.

The current focus is local pickup in Fort Worth. Shipping may be offered on selected future Drops; when it is, the Drop page and checkout will show shipping as an option.

Occasionally, yes. Manufacturer packaging changes and inventory swaps can happen. If we substitute an item, we aim to match category and value.

Where can I find ingredient and allergen information?

Ingredient and allergen information is printed on each product's packaging. Please check the packaging before eating — if you need help identifying an ingredient before purchase, contact us and we'll do our best to answer.

Is cross-contact possible?

Yes. Products are handled and stored alongside other candy, chocolate, and snack items that may contain milk, soy, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, or eggs. If you have a serious allergy, please take that into account before buying.

Because Drops are limited and time-sensitive, cancellations aren't guaranteed. Reach out as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help.

What happens if Swedish Candy Culture cancels a Drop?

If we have to cancel a Drop or a specific pick after payment, we refund the affected order in full through Shopify.

How are refunds handled?

Refunds are issued through Shopify to your original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
